Formulasi Nanopartikel dengan Vesikel Etosom Asam Azelat sebagai Anti Jerawat
Abstract
Acne is a skin disease that is often found, especially on the face causes a decrease in confidence. Thus, it takes the right medication to treat it. Clinical of azelaic acid to be effective as an anti acne to inhibiting the regulation of DNA and RNA synthesis for bacterial Propionibacterium acnes (P.acnes) to decreases protein production needed bacteria to survive. However, to achieve the therapeutic effect of azelaic acid has limited to penetrated the sebaceous glands in skin dermis. So, to enhance the penetration capability can be formulated azelaic acid in vesicles ethosom. This research uses classic or thin layer hydration method to create ethosomal suspension with various ethanol concentration (30%, 35% and 40%). With these methods and formulations, all formulations can be made ethosome nanoparticle suspensions with azelic acid as antiacne.
