Abstract
THE DIFFERENCE OF BLOOD PRESSURE LYING AND STANDING ON HYPERTENTION PATIENTS
ABSTRACT
Hypertention of a state where the sistoolic blood pressure is more than 120mmHg and diastolic preassure more than 80mmHg. hypertention is a dessease that can attack young age and old.Measurement of blood preassure with lying position and standing position will give a higher number than lying position. And many peole who feel dizzy whwn will take a standing position after a long lay. To overcome this usually nurses encourage patients to gradually change positions by giving time to rest at least 5 minutes for each position, because widening and relaxation. The purpose of this study to determine the difference of blood pressure lying and standing on hypertention patients. The research method is descriptive comparative, the research used cross sectional approach with the number of samples counted 48 reespondents using total sampling. The result of this study obtained the value of p value of 0.009 (<0,05) which means there is asignificant difference between the meassurment of systolic blood preassure lying position and standing position in hypertention patient, obtained p value of 0,0372 (>0,05) which means there is no significant difference between the result of measurement of diastolic blood preassure lying position with standing position in hypertention patient. It is hoped that the next researcher can use the character and set difference position in the measurementof blood preassure.
