Implementation of Hospital Without Walls

Abstract

The Hospital Without Walls Program is a flagship program of the Governor of Central Java in health services starting from promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative. The hospital is expected to enter the Public Health Center to reach out to the community to provide promotive and preventive services. The purpose of this study was to examine the description of the implementation of the Hospital Without Walls program at Tugurejo Hospital. This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional research design through quantitative and qualitative approaches. Collecting data with a questionnaire guide, tabulation and interview techniques, and observation. The research respondents were 7 people from the management of Hospital without walls program. Data analysis used univariate analysis. The results show that (1)Management readiness and strategic planning of the Hospital Without Walls is in good category, (2)The superior formulation program for the Hospital Without Walls includes empowerment of patient community associations, strengthening networks and specialist seminars, (3)Action plan for implementing hospitals without walls preparation has been well prepared and has been used as a reference for its implementation, (4)Readiness of Health Resources has met the requirements for implementing the Hospital Without Walls program and synergizes with each other, (5)Tugurejo Hospital has collaborated and partnered with several stakeholders, (6)There is a commitment to the implementation of the Hospital Without Walls starting from planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. (7)Already have a form of programmatic supervision and control of hospital without walls activities and there is a reporting and feedback system. Tugurejo Hospital already has management readiness and strategic planning for the wallless hospital.
