Komunikasi Perawat melalui Dokumentasi Keperawatan Berbasis Elektronik

Abstract

Lebih dari 50% komunikasi perawat yang tidak efektif terjadi karena kegagalan dalam melakukan transfer informasi dan rendahnya kualitas informasi yang didokumentasikan. Penerapan sistem pendokumentasian berbasis elektronik meningkatkan kualitas dokumentasi. Tujuan studi adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan dokumentasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik terhadap komunikasi perawat. Systematic review menggunakan PRISMA dari lima database (Science Direct, ProQuest, Scopus, Willey dan Ebscho) dari tahun 2014-2020. Kata kunci pencariannya yaitu electronic health record, ehr for communication dan nursing information system for communication. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 20 artikel jurnal yang menggunakan desain kuantitatif, kualitatif maupun mix-method. Hasilnya terdapat 12 artikel yang mengatakan bahwa penerapan sistem pendokumentasian berbasis elektronik memberikan pengaruh positif dan 8 artikel mengatakan sistem memberikan pengaruh negatif. Studi ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana penerapan dokumentasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik memberikan dampak positif dan negatif terhadap komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh perawat. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan teknologi untuk melakukan komunikasi adalah kualitas sistem. Jadi penerapan dokumentasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik mempengaruhi pelaksanaan komunikasi perawat. Manajer keperawatan mempunyai peran penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan sistem pendokumentasian berbasis elektronik sebagai alat komunikasi.

NURSE COMMUNICATION THROUGH ELECTRONIC NURSING DOCUMENTATION

ABSTRACT

More than 50% of ineffective nurse communication occurs due to failure to transfer information and the low quality of documented information. The implementation of an electronic nursing documentation improves the quality of documentation. The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of implementing electronic nursing documentation toward nurse communication. Systematic review uses PRISMA from five databases (Science Direct, ProQuest, Scopus, Willey and Ebscho) from 2014-2020. The search keywords are electronic health record, ehr for communication and nursing information system for communication. Analysis was conducted on 20 journal articles using quantitative, qualitative and mix-method designs. The result is there are 12 articles that say that the implementation of electronic based documentation systems has a positive influence and 8 articles say the system has a negative influence. This study identifies how the implementation of electronic nursing documentation has positive and negative impacts on the communication made by nurses. One of the factors that influence the use of technology for communication is the quality of the system. So the implementation of electronic nursing documentation affects the implementation of nurse communication. The nursing manager has an important role in the successful implementation of an electronic based documentation system as a communication tool.
