Kecanduan Game Online Berhubungan dengan Penyesuaian Sosial pada Remaja
Abstract
Teknologi saat ini semakin pesat serta tidak pernah berhenti perkembangannya, salah satunya yaitu game online. Bermain game online yang berlebihan akan menyebabkan ketagihan serta memberi berbagai dampak psikologis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan penyesuaian sosial pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan metode purposive sampling yang melibatkan 111 remaja di Bogor. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah The Internet gaming disorder Test (IGD-20 Test) dan kuesioner penyesuaian sosial. Kriteria inklusi remaja berusia 12-18 tahun, belum menikah . bermain game online setiap hari. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan penyesuaian sosial remaja (p value= 0,000).

ONLINE ADDICTION GAMES ARE RELATED TO SOCIAL ADJUSTMENTS IN ADOLESCENTS
ABSTRACT
Introduction Technology is currently growing rapidly and has never stopped its development. One of them is online games. Playing excessive online games will cause addiction as well as psychological effects. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between online game addiction and social adjustment in the adolescent. Methodology: This study uses a cross-sectional study design with a method of purposive sampling involving 111 adolescents in Bogor. The instrument used was the Internet gaming disorder test (IGD-20 Test), and the social adjustment questionnaire. criteria for inclusion of adolescents aged 12-18 years, unmarried, play online games every day. Data analysis using the chi-square test. Results research shows a relationship between online game addiction and adolescent social adjustment (p-value = 0,000).
