This makes him uncomfortable, sick and not even concentrating in class lessons. Many of the absence of young women at school due to not being able to withstand pain during menstruation. So that there is a need for complementary therapy by implementing yoga Paschimottanasana and Adho Mukha Padmasana. The purpose of this study was to assess differences in pain intensity in young women who were given postchimonttanasana therapy and Adho Mukha Padmasana with those who were only given conventional knowledge and therapeutic information. The quantitative research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all young women in SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja with a minimum sample of treatment and control groups of 188 respondents. Sampling with stratified random sampling technique in class 10-12. Provision of yoga was given to the treatment group then assessed pre and posttest using the Verbal Descriptor Scale / VDS questionnaire that was valid and reliable Analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with paired t-test and independent t-test statistical tests. The results of statistical tests using paired t-test there were differences in pain intensity between before and after from the treatment group (p value 0.001) while in the control group there was no difference. Judging from the effect of using the independent t-test, it was found that Paschimottanasana yoga and Adho Mukha Padmasana had an effect on reducing the intensity of pain during menstruation 1.22 (0.517-1.911) with a p value <0.05 than those not only given conventional knowledge and therapy. The conclusion is that there is a difference and the effect of reducing the intensity of pain from giving yoga Paschimottanasana and Adho Mukha Padmasana.
Putu Wahyu Sri Juniantari Sandy I Wayan Sujana Aditha Angga Pratama ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2020-05-31 2020-05-31 10 3 271 280 Nursing Students’ Experience on Fulfillment of Basic Human Need: Recreation http://journal.stikeskendal.ac.id/index.php/PSKM/article/view/766
Recreation is one of the basic human needs, however people are not often able to meet this need because they are too busy with work or having too many tasks to do. These people include nursing students, who are well known to have a lot of tasks and examinations. Studies on recreation needs among nursing students had been conducted, yet little is known of studies which explore topics with qualitative methods. This study is aimed to explore nursing students’ experience on fulfillment of recreation needs while doing many tasks and examination. Qualitative method with phenomenology design was chosen in order to attain the goal. Samples were determined using purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria: students who experience that their tasks and examination were too many. Four nursing students were involved as participants. Data were gathered by employing in-depth interview in a focus group discussion (FGD). Subsequently the data were analyzed using Colaizzi method. There were three themes that emerged and are as follows “We have our own way to refresh our mind”, “Yes, our basic human need: recreation is fully met”, and “Sometimes obstacles are inevitable” which then were formulated to an essential structure “Be creative to create our own recreation although sometimes there were obstacles.” This study encourages nursing educators to ensure that the recreation needs of every nursing student is fulfilled.
Natalia Ratna Yulianti Dea Rachel Noela Eva Dwi Fransiska Lumintan Efriyanti Vera Dwi Kristyana Yuventia Ratna Pratiwi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2020-05-31 2020-05-31 10 3 281 288 The Role of Early Married Parents to Investing Discipline in Children http://journal.stikeskendal.ac.id/index.php/PSKM/article/view/744
Early marriage is a marriage conducted at the age ofe adolescents. The purpose of this research was to description the role of early married parents to investing discipline. The research method used quantitative descriptive with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with a total of 32 respondents. The instruments compiled by researchers with validity and reliability tests results of 0.392-0.863 with r tables of 0.361 with Alpha Cronbach 0.913. The analyzed used a frequuency and percentage distribution. The study was conducted at Rancabango village, Tarogong Kaler Sub-district in the District of Garut in September 2019 after being approved by Padjadjaran University Research Ethics Committee with the letter No.1130/UN6.KEP/EC/2019. The results of this research showed that the role of early married parents in the category of democratic (59.4%), authoritarian (40.6%), permissive (37.5%).
