AB - ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Kualitas pelayanan keperawatan berkaitan erat dengan kinerja perawat, sehingga kualitas pelayanan dapat dilihat melalui evaluasi kinerja perawat.Salah satu metode dalam menilai kinerja perawat yaitu dengan melihat standar praktek keperawatan.Pada prinsipnya kinerja perawat diukur dari terlaksananya asuhan keperawatan yang berfungsi sebagai pedoman atau tolak ukur dalam pelaksanaan praktek pelayanan keperawatan. Metode: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja perawat dalam dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di RSU Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodedeskriptif dengan menggunakan survey.Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 97 yang diambil dengan menggunakan uji presentase. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagaian besar umur perawat > 35 tahun sebanyak 62 (63,9%),berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 75 (77,3%) dan berpendidikan D3 sebanyak 82 (84,5%) sebagian besar responden mempunyai kinerja perawat baik sebanyak 62 (63,9%) dan melakukan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan lengkap sebanyak 71 (73,2%). Diskusi: Saran dalam penelitian ini diharapkan RSU Kendal memperhatikan kinerja perawat sehingga perawat akan memiliki kesadaran untuk tetap melaksanakan aktivitas kerja dengan maksimal dengan melakukan asuhan keperawatan yang baik. Kata kunci: Kinerja perawat, dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan ABSTRACTIntroduction: The quality of nursing care is closely related to the performance of nurses, so the quality of service can be seen through the evaluation of the performance of nurses. One method of assessing the performance of the nurse is to see the standard of nursing practice.In principle, the nurse measured the performance of the implementation of nursing care that serves as a guideline or benchmark in the implementation of the practice of nursing services.  Methods: . The purpose of this study to describe the performance of nurses in nursing care documentation in Hospital Kendal. This research is descriptive by using survey. The sample in this study as many as 97.  Results: The results show a large part of nurses aged> 35 years were 62 (63.9%), female 75 (77.3%) and educated D3 by 82 (84.5%) mostly the respondents have a good performance as much as 62 nurses (63.9%), and perform complete documentation of nursing care were 71 (73.2%). Discussion: Suggestions in this study is expected to Hospital Kendal attention to the performance of nurses so that nurses will have to continue to implement awareness activities with maximum employment by doing good nursing care Keywords: The performance of nurses, nursing care documentation
