Penurunan Status Neuropati Pasien Diabetes Melitus dengan Melakukan Senam Kaki Diabetik
Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can be treated by controlling and preventing complications. The research design was quasy experiment (pre-post test with control design). This study consisted of 2 groups: treatment and control with 40 respondents each. Sampling technique with consecutive sampling. The instrument used monofilament 10 g neuropathy diabetic test type Semmes-Weinstein monofilament and 128 Hz tuning fork. The analysis used was paired t-test. The results showed that foot exercise was proven to influence changes in peripheral neuropathy status as evidenced by the results of assessment of peripheral neuropathy using monofilament and tuning forks of less than α (0.000 <0.05).
