Abstract

Knowledge is one of the factors causing sexual behavior distortion, one of the causes of sexual behavior that often occurs in employees is the condition of residence, lack of knowledge, high income and far from family. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge of HIV/AIDS with sexual behavior (action domain) for employees in Kendal District. This research uses descriptive descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 85 male employees with a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate a relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV / AIDS with sexual behavior with a p-value of 0.037 <(0.05). It is expected that respondents will be able to further enhance their knowledge by attending health education about HIV/AIDS, especially regarding the risks that will occur if sexual behavior continues to increase.
