HIV status disclosure has an important role in breaking the chain of HIV transmission among PLWHA MSM. The method used a literature review, through the search for articles indexed from database sources such as EBSCOhost, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Wiley Library Online, and SpringerLink from 2010-2019, with the search keyword HIV Status Disclosure and Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM). Obtained 14 articles from search results that match the criteria, which then performed an analysis. The results showed multifactors that influence the HIV status disclosure in PLWHA including: depression, vengeance, partner type, meeting place, partner trust, intimacy, partner testing status, expectation of disclosure results, HIV health optimism, peer support, community HIV and gay. Based on the analyzed articles, HIV stigma is still a major factor inhibiting PLWHA MSM to their HIV status disclosure. Safe status disclosure strategies can be taught and facilitated to these key populations going forward.
