PENURUNAN SENSASI KAKI DAN ULKUS KAKI DIABETIK

Ulkus kaki diabetik yang terjadi pada penderita diabetes terjadi karena beberapa faktor, salah satu hal yang menyebabkan terjadinya ulkus diabetik adalah penurunan sensasi kaki. Penurunan sensasi kaki yang terjadi akan berdampak pada penurunan kemampuan pasien untuk merasakan adanya luka atau ulkus yang terjadi di kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh hubungan antara penurunan sensasi kaki dengan kejadian ulkus diabetik. Metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan incidental sampling sebanyak 14 responden. Uji rank spearman  disimpulkan ada hubungan antara penurunan sensasi kaki dengan kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik (p value < 0.05). Ulkus kaki diabetik terjadi karena menurunnya sensasi kaki pada pasien DM. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan penelitian dengan faktor lainnya yang berhubungan dengan kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik.

DECREASING SENSATION OF LEGS AND DIABETIC FOOT ULCERS

ABSTRACT

Diabetic foot ulcers that occur in diabetics occur due to several factors, one of the causes of diabetic ulcers is a decrease in foot sensation. Decreased leg sensation that occurs will have an impact on the decrease in the ability of the patient to feel the wounds or ulcers that occur in the foot. This study aims to determine how far the relationship between decreased foot sensation with diabetic ulcers. The method used in this study is observational analytics with cross sectional design with incidental sampling of 14 respondents. The result of spearman rank test showed that there was a correlation between decrease of foot sensation with diabetic foot ulcers (p value <0.05). Diabetic foot ulcers occur due to decreased foot sensation in DM patients. Further research is expected to conduct research with other factors associated with the occurrence of diabetic foot ulcers.
