PENGARUH PIJAT OKSITOSIN TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI IBU MENYUSUI

Pendahuluan: Air susu ibu (ASI) merupakan nutrisi yang paling tepat untuk bayi baru lahir sampai minimal bayi berusia 6 bulan, tidak semua ibu menyusui langsung mengeluarkan ASI karena pengeluaran ASI merupakan suatu interaksi yang komplek yang berpengaruh terhadap hormon oksitosin. Pijat oksitosin merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi ketidaklancaran produksi ASI.Metode: Tujuan penelitian iniuntuk mengetahui pengaruh pijat oksitosin terhadap produksi ASI ibu menyusui. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre and post test dengan jumlah 30 sampel responden ibu menyusui. Alat ukur menggunakan kuesioner dengan uji statistik dilakukan dengan Uji Wilcoxon.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menggunakan indikator bahwa produksi ASI  meningkat baik pada hari ke 14, dengan hasil ada pengaruh pijat oksitosin terhadap produksi ASI di Desa Merbuh Kecamatan Singorojo Kabupaten Kendal, dengan nilai p value 0.000<(0,05).Diskusi: Hasil penelitian ini di rekomendasikan untuk ibu menyusui agar dapat melakukan pijat oksitosin, untuk memperbaiki produksi ASI.

ABSTRACT

Introduction:Milk (ASI) is a nutrient that is most appropriate for newborns to a minimum of babies aged 6 months, not all mothers breastfeed immediately issued ASI as spending ASI is an complex interaction influential to the oxytocin hormone. Oxytocin massage is one the solution to overcome the lack of launch milk production. Methods:The purpose of this study is determine the effect of oxytocin massage on milk production on the mothers. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental design with pre and post test with 30 samples of mother as respondents. The instrument is measured using a questionnaire with statistical tests with Wilcoxon test.Results:The results using indicators that milk production is increased at day 14, with the result there are a massage effect of oxytocin on milk production at Merbuh Village Singorojo District of Kendal, with p value 0.000 <(0.05).Discussion:The results of this study recommended for mothers in order to perform a massage oxytocin, to improve milk production.
