PENGARUH TEKNIK RELAKSASI PERNAPASAN TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI

Abstract

High blood pressure or hypertension is a disease that gets attention from all circles of society, considering its impact both short and long term and thus require long-term prevention comprehensive and integrated. The Research was to illustrate the effect of breathing relaxation to the reduction of blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This study used Pre- experiment design with the One-group Pretest-posttest approach . The population in this study is the person with mild hypertension, used total sampling technique. Sample of this study is 30 respondent. From   the   analysis,   we   concluded   that   the   thirthy  respondents   after   relaxation techniques decreased blood pressure. Based on statistical test showed breathing relaxation techniques was able to decrease blood pressure. It   is   recommended   that   people   who   suffer   from hypertension still routinely breathing relaxation techniques to decrease blood pressure.
