Abstract

ABSTRAK

Nilai profesional merupakan identitas diri dan sebagai landasan melaksanakan praktek keperawatan yang digambarkan dalam tiga kategori yaitu, caring, activsm dan professionalsm. Penerapan nilai profesional dimulai saat perawat menjadi mahasiswa, sehingga pendidikan keperawatan memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan nilai profesional. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran nilai profesional keperawatan pada mahasiswa program studi profesi ners Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan dan Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, pengambilan sampel secada total sampling sebanyak 62 orang. Pengambilan data kuesioner dengam menggunakan NPVS-3. Analisis statistik menggunakan analisa univariat. Karakteristik mahasiswa mayoritas perempuan, berusia usia 23 tahun, nilai profesional keperawatan kategori baik, nilai kepedulian (caring) kategori baik nilai aktivitas (activsm) kategori baik, nilai professionalsm kategori baik, nilai caring baik, nilai activsm penerapannya baik, nilai professionalsm penerapannya baik, dan keseluruhan penerapan nilai profesional keperawatan adalah baik. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi evaluasi penerapan nilai profesional keperawatan oleh mahasiswa dan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi oleh institusi pendidikan sehingga dapat lebih mengembangkan kurikulum yang menunjang peningkatan nilai profesional pada mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

The value of professional identity is as a foundation and implement the nursing practice  is described in three categories namely, caring, and activsm professionalsm. The application starts when the professional nurses into nursing education, so that students have an important role in the formation of professional values. Research purposes to know the description of the professional value of nursing students on profession courses ners at the Faculty of Nursing and Health, Muhammadiyah Semarang of University. A descriptive Study using the method of quantitative survey approach, sampling as much as a total sampling of 62 people. Kuesoner development in data retrieval using NPVS-3. Statistical analysis using univariate analysis. The majority Characteristics of women, age 23 years, the professional value of nursing category either, the value of caring (caring) categories both the value of the activity (activsm) category good, the value of good category professionalsm. the value of caring majority both, the value of a good application of majority activsm, the value of a good application of majority professionalsm, and the overall application of professional nursing is both. This research can be the evaluation of the application values of nursing by students and professionals can be a material evaluation by educational institutions so that they can better develop curricula that support the improvement of professional value in student.
