GAMBARAN DIABETES MELITUS DAN HIPERTENSI PADA PENDERITA STROKE

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Riwayat penyakit seperti diabetes melitus (DM) dan hipertensi (HT) dapat menyebabkan gangguan vaskuler, salah satu gangguan vaskuler yang sering terjadi adalah pada organ otak. Sehingga seseorang yang mempunyai kedua atau salah satu riwayat penyakit tersebut beresiko mengalami stroke. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya peluang seseorang yang menderita diabetes untuk mengalami stroke non hemoragik (SNH). Metode retrospektif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun hasil penelitian berupa riwayat HT 24 orang (28,6%), DM sebanyak 50 orang (71,4%), kejadian SNH sebanyak 46 orang (65,7%) dengan  nilai OR 0,3-1,5 (CI 1,1 – 1,5). Diabetes melitus dan hipertensi merupakan faktor resiko terjadinya stroke non hemoragik. Riwayat DM memiliki rasio yang cukup tinggi menyebabkan seseorang berpeluang mengalami stroke non hemoragik dibandingkan riwayat HT. Saran untuk dilakukan eksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang juga berkontribusi terhadap terjadiya penyakit stroke.

ABSTRACT

History of diseases such as diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension (HT) can cause vascular disorders, one of the most common vascular disorders is the brain's organs. So that someone who has a second or one history of the disease is at risk of having a stroke. The purpose of this study is to know the chances of someone suffering from diabetes to experience a non-hemorrhagic stroke (SNH). Retrospective method was used in this study. Results: history of HT 24 people (28.6%), DM as many as 50 people (71.4%), the incidence of SNH as many as 46 people (65.7%) with an OR value of 0.3-1.5 (CI 1.1 - 1.5). Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are risk factors for non-hemorrhagic stroke. History of DM has a high enough ratio to cause a person to experience a non-hemorrhagic stroke compared to the history of HT. Suggestions for exploration of other factors that also contribute to the occurrence of stroke.
