Karakteristik Gejala Gastrointestinal Pasien Covid-19

Abstract

Mayoritas pasien Covid-19 datang ke pelayanan kesehatan dengan gejala gangguan sistem pernafasan, beberapa temuan hasil penelitian terkini menunjukkan pasien Covid-19 juga mengalami gejala gangguan gastrointestinal sebagai keluhan utama. Tujuan penelitian mengkaji secara sistematis karakteristik masalah gastrointestinal penderita Covid-19. Kajian sistematis dilakukan dengan melakukan pencarian secara komprehensif pada basis data: Pubmed, Cochrane, Central Register of Clinical Trials, dan Google Scholar, yang diterbitkan tahun 2019–2021. Kata kunci yang digunakan “coronavirus” AND “clinical characteristics”, “Covid-19 digestive symptoms in patients”, “diarrhea AND Covid-19”, “nausea AND covid-19”. Subjek penelitian adalah pasien positif Covid-19. Terkumpul 46 artikel yang melaporkan gejala sistem gastrointestinal pasien Covid-19, sebagian besar artikel merupakan hasil penelitian di wilayah Cina (31 artikel). 46 artikel gejala gastrointestinal pada pasien Covid-19 mayoritas dilaporkan mengalami diare (22.67%), nausea (16.24%), vomiting (10.72%), salah satu atau keduanya (4.91%), anoreksia (10.39%), abdominal pain (5.56%), heart burn (0.70%), kehilangan nafsu makan (17.06%), dan pharyngalgia (14.58%). RNA virus dapat terdeteksi pada rectal swabs dan tinja mengindikasikan kemungkin­an SARS-CoV-2 bertindak aktif mereplikasi diri di saluran gastrointestinal.
