Efek Penggunaan Chlorhexidine dalam Menurunkan Jumlah Bakteri pada Ulkus Kaki Dibetik: A Literature Review
Abstract
Ulkus kaki diabetik merupakan komplikasi kronis dan penyebab utama amputasi, umumnya dapat dicegah dengan penanganan yang tepat. Salah satunya penatalaksanaan perawatan luka dengan menggunakan antiseptik. Klorheksidin mengandung antiseptik yang berperan penting dalam mengurangi jumlah bakteri pada ulkus kaki diabetikum. Ulasan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas penggunaan Chlorhexidine untuk menurunkan jumlah bakteri pada ulkus kaki diabetik. Desain yang digunakan dalam studi pustaka ini adalah tinjauan pustaka. Pencarian artikel menggunakan lima database yaitu PubMed, Ebscohost, Chocrane Library, dan Science Direct menggunakan kata kunci PICO. Ditemukan 1.032 artikel dalam periode 2010-2020. Penapisan dilakukan dengan menghapus artikel yang tidak sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi, dan ditemukan empat artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Teridentifikasi 1.032 artikel dari tahun 2010-2020 dan lima artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Beberapa hasil menunjukkan penggunaan Chlorhexidine efektif dalam mengurangi jumlah bakteri, serta membantu penyembuhan luka pada ulkus kaki diabetik. Klorheksidin merupakan terapi topikal yang efektif dalam perawatan luka karena Klorheksidin dapat menurunkan jumlah bakteri pada ulkus kaki diabetik dan dapat mempercepat penyembuhan ulkus kaki diabetik.
