Efektifitas Penggunaan Virtual Reality dalam Penanganan Pasien Demensia: Literatur Review
Abstract
Demensia merupakan gangguan penurunan fungsi kognitif yang mengganggu kemandirian dan fungsi sehari-hari. Gangguan kognitif dapat ditangani dengan intervensi rehabilitasi kognitif. Rehabilitasi kognitif dapat dilakukan dengan teknologi komunikasi jarak jauh berupa virtual realita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dampak penggunaan virtual reality dalam penanganan pasien Demensia. Metode telaah jurnal/literature review dari database online PubMe, ScienceDirect, Scopus, dan Springer Link. Tahun publikasi artikel yang diambil dari tahun 2015-2020. Kata Kunci pencarian jurnal yang digunakan “Virtual Reality” dan “Dementia”. Virtual reality dapat diterima dengan baik dan menyenangkan pada pasien dengan demensia ringan. Jenis-jenis Virtual reality yang dapat digunakan antara lain, HMD-VR (Head Mounted Display-Virtual Reality ), Virtual Reality Forest (VRF), dan Virtual Reality berbasis gambar. Virtual Realita memberikan manfaat bagi penderita demensia ringan.
