Pembelajaran Virtual Patient dengan Triage Simulator Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mahasiswa Melakukan Triage Prehospital
Abstract
Kevalidan petugas dalam mengambil keputusan triage sangat memegang peranan penting dalam penanganan korban di area prehospital. Pengambilan keputusan triage yang tidak tepat akan berakibat fatal terhadap kondisi pasien. Dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan melakukan triage pre hospital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran virtual patient dengan triage simulator terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa melakukan triage pre hospital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu pretest-postest with control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan besar sample 68 yang dibagi menjadi 34 responden kelompok intervensi dan 34 responden kelompok kontrol. Responden diukur kemampuan melakukan triage prehospital mengacu pada standar Simple Triage And Rapid Treatment (START). Analisa data dengan Uji Mann Whitney untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pembelajaran virtual patient dengan triage simulator terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa melakukan triage pre hospital. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mayoritas tingkat kemampuan melakukan triage pre hospital setelah diberikan pembelajaran metode virtual patient dengan triage simulator pada kelompok intervensi berada dalam kategori cukup sebesar 61,8% dan 67,6% pada kelompok kontrol. Didapatkan nilai p value 0,003 maka ada Pengaruh pembelajaran virtual patient dengan triage simulator terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa melakukan triage pre hospital. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa melakukan triage prehospital secara signifikan setelah diberikan intervensi pembelajaran virtual patient dengan triage simulator.
