Abstract

Syncope events often occur in school students. The low attitude of male students drowned from the results by many factors, one of which was intrapersonal factors. Intrapersonal factors (mood and character) play a very big role in encouraging someone to help in an emergency. The aim of this research was to see the relationship between mood and attitude with the attitude of helping syncope students at SMA N 1 Weleri. The design of this research is correlational analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample of 242 students with stratified random sampling technique, the population in this study were 611 students of class XI and XII. Measuring instruments in the form of a questionnaire about the mood, nature and attitudes help students syncope. Hypothesis testing using the chi square test. The results showed that the majority of positive syncope for helping syncope students was 63,2%. The nature of helping the majority of students with a good syncope of 63,2%. The attitude of students in helping syncope majority students have a helping attitude of 62,4%. There is a relationship between mood with the attitude of helping syncope students obtained value ρ = 0,002 (<α = 0,05) and OR = 2,337. There is a relationship between the nature of the attitude to help students with syncope obtained value ρ = 0,0001 (<α = 0,05) and OR = 5,721.
